有关MA63的诉讼案

这里我向同胞们汇报工作情形如下：

我温利山律师事务所于今日再次出庭，并向法庭保证，一旦提交的诉讼和索赔声明被法庭认可，将立即把诉讼和索赔声明提交给被控方。
被告是马来西亚联邦政府、砂拉越政府和英国政府。

诉讼和索赔声明非常复杂甚至难以起草。 在 2021 年 11月26日将其提交后，我们对其进行了修改。我们必须对诉讼和索赔声明进行修改, 因为其中两位原告已经逝世而无缘提出诉讼。

修改后的诉讼和索赔声明大约有 100 页。

一旦法院签署确认已提交修订的诉讼和索赔声明，我们必须打印多份副本以分发给各被告的法律团队和律师。

MA63 SUIT

My law firm of Messrs. Voon & Co. Advocates, had appeared in court today and had assured the court that the Writ and Statement of Claim filed shall be served to the Defendants soon after the Writ and Statement of Claim are able to be extracted from court.

The Defendants are the Federal Government of Malaysia, The Sarawak Government and the Government of United Kingdom.

The Writ and Statement of Claim are very complicated and difficult to drafted. They have been amended in past weeks after they were filed in November 2021. They have to be amended after two of the Plaintiffs is no more around to pursue the Suit.

The amended Writ and Statement of Claim is about 100 pages.

We have to print several copies for service to the Defendants and lawyers in the Legal Team once signed by the Court in acknowledgement that the amended Writ and Statement of Claim been filed.

To serve to Attorney General Chambers in Kuala Lumpur and to the UK government, we need services of lawyers in Kuala Lumpur for us. For service to Sarawak government will not be a problem.

Costs of handling this MA63 Suit is running and it would be a pleasure if party members and supporters can chip in funds to get us fight this cause.

We need lawyers to come in but they need to be given at least token payment to get them helping us. It is difficult to get lawyers to join the Legal Team.
Two in the Legal Team who had been working in this project since 2019 backed out recently. I understand their problems.

We badly need a lawyer from Australia, who had been working on this case for more that ten years, to come back to assist us. He has contacts with law professors and international lawyers, including those who have appeared before the International Court of Justice (ICJ). They are experts in the many areas of law in which, we cannot provide. Their services are utmost important to us.

This is a very heavy work. The Suit is controversial, sensitive and a very high profile case with security risks.

The court will pressure us to burn midnight oil and we would be put under tremendous pressure to work against the giants.

So far, we never came across of any case in the world of similar nature which tries to break up a country through the court process.

We expect heavy weight lawyers not only from Malaya but from United Kingdom working on the case on behalf of the Defendants. We also expect lawyers, law professors, pro-independence activists and general public from all over the world watching this case.

Pity us.

We are small fries fighting against the giants in this case.
They have the resources and the whole machineries of the governments will be supplying the ammunitions to them, we are climbing the mountain, but, we shall not give up.

The court hinted to us whether or not we should bring in the Sabah government too in this Suit.

It is interesting to consider and I shall communicate with some people in Sabah on what they intend to do for Sabah as the Suit has some implications on people of Sabah.
